This module has helped me to see that I need to pay more attention to the standards so that I can find out what I need to teach. It makes life a whole lot simpler! :-) As for CFQ's, I did not realize that you could use an essential question for an entire class and connect every unit to it. As for formative assessments, I always forget to utilize them. So sometimes I teach the kids what they already know, and other times I think they already know something. It’s good to know what the kids know and don't know. This class is making me think more about the units I am creating.

NiI plan on finding the specific standard, later. Through correspondence with a Dept. Head and teacher, this is adequate for a chemistry standard. CFQ's can be more specific at a later date. It is great planning the assessment first and then working backwards.

I didn't learn much more about questioning techniques. I did learn how to properly save items to folders. Yes! This is something I will use forever.

This module has helped me organize my thoughts to create an effective PBL. I am able to correlate standards to my lessons, incorporate multiple disciplines, and engage students in their learning. It is a great way to teach.

This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQ's or formative assesments in the following ways:
1. Addressing the whole learner
2. Timelines help the students focus on assignment throughout the project
3. CFQ's work to show the progression from fact to thinking
4. Assessments help to keep me focused so that I can keep the students on track.
5. Standards help me stay focused on the student learning

It looks like everyone is taking away different learning from the modules ... applying what you can and learning at your own level. Everyone will implement the learning to different degrees and grow at their own pace.

This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQs, or formative assessments in the following ways:
1. making me refine the math skills I want to have my kids know and be able to do.
2. think about my questions deeply
3. determine benchmark assessments for the life of the project.

A concern of mine is that I tend to create topics that are too broad and difficult to start and maintain.

I have written lesson plans with standards in mind but not with CFQ's. This helps to keep everything tied together. I know that Formative assessments help us know where to start teaching. I mostly feel like I am gaining more experience in learning the technology!
